Red Is Both Good and Bad

Red is the sun
The heat beating down on me
Everyone sips Kool-Aid as they sit by the pool

Red is the color of beauty
Red hair, curly, delicate
Nail polish on my toes still wet

Screaming as blood runs from my cut
The pain is in my eyes
I don't know how anyone can suffer more than this

The words Reed City Coyotes are printed on my paper
Right before the margin line
My pen makes it look stunning

Lava is about to explode from the volcano
People run away so they don't get burned
They yell in rage while their houses are being destroyed
