Red Rose Fades

In silent pain, her tears fall like rain
A masquerade parades
The show she plays, plays her instead
Its dead
Red rose fades.

The silent fight, wings broken flight
Destiny defeated, energy depleted
Not she who won, her will was not done
Never she listened or heeded.

The battle is over, she's growing older
No more fighting is left, just death
Sadness take place, tears on her face
She's seeing the light, wasted time on this fight
She breaks her chains, ropes and reigns
Acceptance is key, she's free!

But still...
In silent pain, her tears fall like rain
A masquerade parades
The show she plays, plays her instead
Its dead
Red rose fades.
