Red Rose Shoot

He played a part in this mourning as much as me
I guess the sun didn't stop the storming
or the sworn of stinging bees
There was life in that red rose
but so many ghost in the roots
and a distinctive voice whispering hurry up and shoot
Laying lifeless could numb this inevitable pain
this rose didn't need sunshine it was fine with the rain
Losing it's color but gaining peace of mind
and rejoicing at thought that it was running out of time
No bullets in the gun but there is one in You
and he grabbed my petals and whispered
Red Rose Shoot
