Red Roses

Red roses bloom
Petals drip and drift through the wind
Born of scars
Nourished with tears
Fed with guilt
From milk white soil
The red roses bloom
One then two
The red roses bloom.

This Poems Story

This poem is a referral to my struggle with self harm, the "red roses" being the cuts and their "blooming" being their bleeding and healing.
