Red Snow

I am a black hole
On a winter's day
Spread thin across frost bitten
Eating all the snowflakes
And spitting them back into the sky
Through my cold saliva clouds

I am visible
Among blankets of white
A Seeping red
Traced with
Springs rosy fingers,
I found something intangible
To reach for
A thing I could never see through...
My limbs stretch out
For distant rose buds
And they fall apart at touch
I am distant from everything I crave
The last cry of a melting snowman
I am love,
I am lone.
