Reflection

Starring with a luminious smile,
at the calm lake, echoing myself.
Jaded by the silent and sad mirror image of the reflection,
wanting to hide the real me,
full of pain and tears.

Reflection, questioning the real me,
Is it difficult to smile, hiding the tears?

Comforting the shadow with pain,
Its easy to smile for a showoff,
but difficult to endure and hide.
Its easy to pass a warmth of the smile to others
but difficult to receive from the beloved.
Its easy to stand strong and mighty for the world
but difficult to face ownself lonely.
Its easy to survive the chaos around
but difficult to breathe at times.

All that courage to stand strong and smile
and breathe and survive is all that's left
for the vessel as the end is yet to reach.

Tha only cure to live with full content,
with the love of my life at my side,
wasn't aligned to my destiny,
as fate had its own plans.
