If your final day was here,
and this breathe was your last,
have you accomplished all you wished,
healed all that's in your past?
Did you take each experience,
both inspiring and the tough,
and learn the lesson to be taught,
even when times were rough?

Were the people who were special,
aware they meant so much,
for those who we connect with,
our hearts and souls do touch.
You get out what you give in life,
nothing comes for free,
but if you seek then you shall find,
the beauty that can be.

I hope you spent each moment,
heart of love wide open,
as what's more precious in this life,
than words that are unspoken.
Be present in each day,
and make each second count,
for we have one chance in this life,
how we live, paramount.
