Reflections

The darkness subsides enough for me to see a hint of light.
It is so faint as if to look through a waterfall at night.
My body is cold, fatigued without fight.
The tears stop momentarily,
as I realize you are no longer here, but in flight.
All of the ones you helped are your wings on the way to forever.
And the angels smile.
