Refreshed

I notice blue jay's attire.
I spot part of the sun in the west,
And in the east I see some stars.
In the stars I found Orion
Then I notice Leo the Lion.
I feel the little hand locked in mine grow tighter;
As a wolf howls she thinks it might bite her.
I pick her up as she starts to yawn,
My bare feet feel good in the bright, green lawn.
I tuck her in bed, pray, and kiss her goodnight.
She starts to cry and says, "There is no light."
I pray for light and soon,
The room started to light up,
Then I see the moon.
I walk out when she seems calm.
Then, I heard her pray,
"Thank you, God, for my mom."
