Children crying and dying
For all those who fell
No one leaves home unless home is a war
That has become hell

Then the streets were pervaded with smiles
Now the streets are permeated with oceans of red
Apartments replete with cheerful families
Now all of those families fled

Then the sky was colored shades of blue
Now the sky is swarmed with endless hues of grey
But smokes from the bombs are ubiquitous
Like the inside of an ashtray

Calcified corpses bathing on the beaches
Blood is spilled like a waterfall
Dead bodies floating in the Sea
More dangerous than ethanol

Every day a building blows
Schools are no longer there
Killing millions of innocent souls
Destruction is everywhere
