The defining sound of silence rings through your ear,
Killing every inch of you.

The screams
In your head,
You can still hear.

You're hoping and praying for this to not be true.

Air will rise and fall,
Waves will wash and fade,
People will come and go,
Time will tick by before you even know.

You're in this world alone,
You'll probably never see home,
Who you are,
Where you're from,
What you did,
All that you will forget,
There's one thing you'll remember;

You regret.
