Regretless

Cancelled plans and questionable friends
Slow whispers fill his mouth of smoke
He sees his presence as my cleanse
Little does he know, he's my cloke

In parks and rivers we sang
Never knowing him, never needing to
With stars watching we created a bang
He finally pushed away, right on cue

I don't need saving Jesus
I loved it all
What's there to discuss?
My virginity is gone, it's protocol

I'm the same woman
I hold not hate
We're both only human
He's just one puzzle piece,
In a mural I call my fate
