Regrets

We were once sealed in a powerful bond
So inseparable I thought we would live together
So intertwined I assumed we would dine to-get-her
So interwoven I dreamed we would grow inextricably
So patched up I said we would marry in-sync...
So close I believed we would in duo exist forever
But suddenly she drifted; like a separable raft
She chameleoned
She abandoned; she chiseled my heart like a fresh banana trunk
She left
She forgot
Now, locked I in the prison of regret
Buried in a pile of thoughts
Feeling ashamed of ever being so close to her
Now, I am nothing to her
