Regrets

The agony lingers; placid in thought.
Quakes the foundation of self.
Just like a torch across warm coals.
It ignites a flame without end.
Deeper it blazes the more the foundation cracks.
Pain Vibrates across a disturbed mind.
Essence of self is dissolving into ash.
This blazing pain, started from despair, loneliness and regrets.
For from good memories, powers this inferno.
The soul crumbles from making bad choices.
What can you do from the wreckage of the mind?
Simple through time, and true love of self.
Also with the determination to make sure no repeat.
Out for this wreckage, build a monument of change.
From the crumbled remains of the foundation rebuild anew.
For all that is left is hope of a better self.
