Rehearsed Television Scenes

I live through the words of magazines and rehearsed television scenes.
I never thought I would be anything more than this.
In my mind, I can only find the deafening drones of commercial jets.
I found in life sadness and ache then you came to me smiling with glitter.
I am desperately drawn to your flame even from afar.
Strings of electric, ecstatic discourse moved me by certain gravity of desire.
I found your flame even more beautiful, richer at source.
I’ve seen gardens full of flowers I could not name.
I’ve seen your smile and it’s like the sunrise.
It lights your face and those beautiful brown eyes.
