This superiority is convenient.
I find comfort in the contrast.
Dominance is a luxury that I wish I could preserve.
But you'll only be portable for so long.
There's only so much time until this area of ease shrinks.
When this field becomes a yard and this house, a shed.
When this window of opportunity ends and starts a new era.
As you grow into your adolescence, I hope to remain the main event.
Will you still be eager to interact as much as I ?
Perhaps, but things won't be the same.
As you increase, I'll decrease.
I'll have to tread water and my zits will show.
You'll still be adorable, but I'll have less security.
But if my goal is to love you, that doesn't matter.
