A splash of color in a bold black sky gave a threatening look
All the mice cowered and conformed
Afraid to ignite a flame themselves
A lab full of mice under siege

Thank God it went under siege

These mice were following orders like free slaves
Conforming to an un-realistic expectation of how they should live
But then comes the fire
A raging, dangerous fire

Thank God for that fire

The mice sought water for the flames
The water dried before contact
The power of one fire

Thank God for the first fire

Untouchable, the mice rebelled
More fires were set, destroying everything in its path
The lab was gone, burned to the ground
The mice were free
