Remark of Beauty

My deepest fondness art thine
Thou beauty dost make thy foe feeble
Thee shall dwell on a face so devine
Thou gaudy appearance is oe'r equal

Ere thyself was fore of my body
Foolish was I of all herald
I was ruinate, niggarding, haughty
Thou showed pity and transformed I to an emerald

All the Earth's elegance is thine
The finest canvass is thy glass
Things unfair thou shall refine
Life's forbidden beauty thee surpass

Thy beauty tombed all other feeling
Maugre, my love for thou is everlasting
