Remember The Vets
From inside the Hospital
Suffering with memories so real,
Don't forget our Soldiers
Their sacrifice is a really big deal.
From inside a cardboard box
Dealing with homelessness and fears,
Too often this person is a Soldier
And their story is the one nobody hears.
From inside the quiet nursing home
Trying still to adjust, now that their alone
We often see our older Veterans
Their sacrifice & service away from home.
God please Bless All our Soldiers
Until the day you call them home,
Let them know we love them
And that they are never truly alone.
