I'm so tired,
I sleep and sleep,
And when I wake,
I'm still so tired.

I would get hours of sleep,
And awaken restless.
My mind filled with worries,
My heart filled with pain.
I try to hide from all of it,
"My Friends",
My family,
My enemies,
My fears,
My life.

Take me somewhere restful,
Where the slumber is everlasting,
Where pain and grief can't find me.
But this place I long for is not for the body,
Tis my soul is the restless tool.
Let my soul escape this body,
And be on it's own,
Let it find that wonderful place I crave,
And let it rest there, evermore
