Retirement for Tomorrow

Punching a time clock is the thing of the past.
I wake up in the morning: and say thank God at last.
To fill my day, I have no clue,
By the time I finish breakfast.

I nap for an hour or two.
Afternoon is here.
I think--I'll take a walk and get some fresh air.
Back in to the house I go,
Into my comfortable chair
To watch reality TV show.
Exercise is somewhere on the agenda--but my energy is low.
Preparing dinner is a chore.
But a person has to eat--I think so!
The things on my retirement plan--I didn't get to meet
But--no worries or sorrows,
I have plenty time tomorrow. And tomorrow and tomorrow. And tomorrow--
For sure!
