Retirement

You were valuable, when you came.
And now you leave us, only in name.
You worked for years, with many skills,
And came to work, to pay the bills.

We send you on your merry way,
No more Managers to nag your day.
Social Security as you know,
Entitled benefit, let it flow.

Your daily attire, no need to wear,
And all the traffic, that made you swear.
Your no stress life-style will keep you alive,
No evening shifts, or nine to five.

The choice was made, as you retire,
To walk in your footsteps, is my desire.
You will be remembered, for all those years,
Just wish me well, and shed no tears.
