Revolution

I do it for peace the love of pain.
I obey their orders feeling the drain
This system I can not sustain.
I won't fight back, I want peace to gain
Put down your guns before they begin dropping from the plane
Mother of all bombs we know your name.
Violence begets violence so in peace remain.
I love you now like I loved you then
It's not a question of where or when
They need you to fight for a global war to begin
Say 'I'm smarter than you' and you can all win
Revolution comes from within
So pick up your cross that you held to begin
It's your happiness for the love of a friend.
We are all the same beginning to end
Energy expended trying hard to defend
Your family as it becomes harder to pretend
We are happy as our backs begin to bend
Poisoned our water, food we can not resend
You consumed too much nothing left to spend
Live for today the message is clear
Those you are really fighting feed off of fear
Wash your face and dry your tear
Time for peace is not a day but it must be for every year
