Revolutionary War

Oh what a war, that our great nation fought.
Defeating the enemy their first and last thought.
Oh what a war, that caused chaos and ruin.
Don't know what to do, yet they do what they're doing.
And oh what a war, that sent deaths through midair.
Their cannons that made them far from just fair.
I say, oh what a war, that split our nation in two,
But our half nation won, triumphant and true.
And though our nation is still in a sting,
Oh what a war, and what did it bring?
