Ripley’s Believe Or Not

By Da Poet

Down on bended knees I pray,
this I do like none other day.
Naked and barren everything to loose,
but Faith and Trust is what I choose.

For we walk by Faith, and not by sight,
that’s the Christian’s walk, help shine the light.
Hope against hope believing all is lost,
is a virtue not many master as emotions get tossed.

Bring me your downtrodden, those who are abused,
the wounded vessels, these one’s I can use.
Give me liberty or give me death,
I won’t insult your intelligence,
because you know the rest.
