River Bed

Quietly resting by the river bed,
Quietly resting on the river bed,

it has been days since I have washed away.

I gently floated upon the river bed,

in peace my body may decay.

I do not mind the river bed,

for here I will happily stay.

There are so many things left un said,

but I am forever gone.

Dead by the river bed

Quietly resting on the river bed,

my soul is sure to stay.

Roaming along the river bed,

with patience ceasing the day.

Here I lay dead,

forever resting on the river bed.
