Rivers

I am the river, but I no longer flow.
I ran to the ocean, but the oceans' not cold.
The Earth's so warm, there's no more snow.
The glaciers all melted. Where did they go?
Yes, I am the river, but I no longer flow.

I am the river, but I no longer run.
The snow all melted because of the sun.
The glaciers' waters no longer flow.
The rocks and sand are not in tow.
The mountains now can all grow old.

I am the river, make no mistakes.
To flow again, will you do what it takes?
If the earth stays hot, everyone bakes.
What will the ocean take in it's wake?
It's this way now, because we made mistakes.
