Roses

A thousand blood, red roses
Thorns as sharp as knives
Scraping up against the walls
Raking up the lies

Forever held against the bush
Trapped against their will
They're all alone but shining bright
On the window's seal

A thousand blood, red roses
soaking in the sun
peddles that have turned black
Have the wind to help them run

A thousand dead, black roses
Thrown into the yard
Finally free of capture
Who knew it'd be so hard?
