Roses and Ribbons

A sun rises to burn away the dreams of the Night.
To illuminate the sky of those that Dare to die?

Our possibility's stolen by the shining light,
casting the what we dream to the flame of truth.

Open was it all till the room was filled.
Casting the blazing reds across to what is now dead.

Wishing i could feel your softness again,
with softness across my cheek where now tears drip.

A sun rises to burn away the dreams of the Night.
To illuminate the sky of those that Dare to die?

light opens the day to the blooms,
where all is buried to deep to see.

Covered is the sky in reds and blues,
smoothed is the the ground in roses and ribbons.

When eyes are close my world is loud and spinning.
Open to the light the real world is quiet and still.
