Roses Are Red

I missed the roses
Explode this year, and
She did also.
I put my head down
In special mourning…
When I arose,
Spring had come, and
She was gone.
Her Spirit went
Faster than
The roses came.
I looked above
My humbled ground;
Roses and blankets of more
Flowers upon flowers existed
In all directions abroad…
Like she blossomed
With the Great timing
Of a Godly season…
An entire Earth made
In seven days
Imagine what God did
In a Lifetime with you…
I miss you today, and
I’ll still miss you tomorrow,
But each time I see the roses
I’ll know
Your Spirit went elsewhere,
And I’ll see you in the beautiful
Flowers upon flowers every spring…
