Rose’s Charm

As a rose greets dawn's sun kissed rays
With dew drenched petals glory
Your face aglow its beauty slays
This one who craves your story.

If the queen of nature's radiant flow'rs
The golden orb above doth trace
Surely your dazzling countenance tow'rs
Above the reach of my embrace.

So her entrancing fragrance sends
With heaven's amethyst gloaming
Your winsome balm yet bends
My wayward soul from roaming.

With eventide's shad'wy black embrace
Dew drops kiss her once more
The nighttime reveries give chase
My slumber's dream of you adore.
