Royal Bee

Heard melodies of hooves pounding the earth,
but those unheard when she is asleep dreaming of running free
Her sounds of welcome are sweeter than the morning sun
the spirit of the wild west runs in her veins as
she silently stares into open lands which she can not possess.
beneath the trees, you graze waiting for me to come
Thy song of love for the wide open spaces
while you are enclosed in the corral of hay
and a few blades of grass
The love you have for me holds you stronger
than any ropes can ever bind you
My beautiful Royal Bee, loyal and true to me
