Rule of Two

A glance - a peek - a view
Of an eye captures pace:

A drop of snow so true
Elevates the span of space.

Closer yet and nearer
You are to love and joy:

Picture too perfect. For much dearer
It is to ponder. But to see is to alloy.

Once rich, now raven.
Once righteous, now raw.

Regret fills my world shaken.
One view there;

Half-blind in awe.
