Ruling Your Heart
Need I remind you of your tasks at hand?
The heroes hired only calmed the herd.
I can survive if you can save my land.
You can and I will need your special word.
Love’s arrows ran out of hope and potion.
The unsatisfactory and the lies.
The castle gates set up, fast motion.
You, only, can protect me from the cries.
The bleeding heart keeps killing gardens,
The plants murdering, growing in power.
While I stand by as your heart hardens.
And you stand below a prison tower.
For mistakes, you punish yourself in guilt.
And I'm waiting to make your heart all filled.
