Rush

Excitement in the air with anticipations running high,
Cold bodies enter and rush by.
The building echo with laughter,
Faces blur as they rush by,
grabbing the gifts they quest after.
Night closes as morning arrises fatigue and worn,
faces still stream through.
The same questions and requests
repeat themselves as they are ruthless.
Rush rush rush
Fiery heat melts through tight backs & throbbing knees.
Stocking, cleaning and filling the racks.
Inevitable sleep takes away the sting.
Released with a short leash to return tomorrow.
Black Friday a day a week rush me Rush me more.
