Sacrosanct

Burdened by weight of mistake
And impending consequence
I had heard others testify
Of the Master's opulence

Could I offer instead
This life lost
To Highest king of glory
One who paid with great cost?

Object of my wonder
Gazes upon me with fascination
Refusing the allowance to rot
In fear and perturbation

Highest stakes to lose
This soul had grieved
Will and strength failing
I fell to my knees

So strenuously curious
What you would do I did not know
I commit my life to you I cried
His hearts desire to save and see growth

Time of prosecution came and went
The gavel never did strike
Rising to my feet I find
Life abundant in sight

Able to gasp for breath
My life a conflagration asunder
Now completely resolved
By a single strike of holy thunder

Bewildered my soul did find
Such thorough impunity
My evil enemy had been
Rendered futile fervently

The Master wasn't finished yet
I was to become His saint
Bought with pure divine blood
I am sacrosanct
