Sad and happy
There's no "we", there's no "us",
There's just you, among the stars,
There's "you", and there's "me"
"We" is what we used to be.
Just like a river dries itself
For loving the heat way too much,
This poem should hang on my shelf
Among the others and the watch.
I'm sad and happy,
I'm dull and snappy,
I know I did all that I could
But maybe not what I should.
