Said Mrs Hanrahan

F I think that we’ll have take away
B It seems that it’s the common way
A So why not do it every day - F
F There really isn’t much to fear
Am They’ll never drop the bomb right here,
B If so, it wouldn’t be this year - F
F There’s nothing out there in the night
B At least nothing that’ll bite
AThere’s just no reason to take fright. - F
F Cancer’s really not an issue
Am It’s always someone else, not you
B And there’s really nothing you can do. - F
F You know each week that you’ll get paid,
B There is no need to be afraid
A In fact, you know you’ve got it made - F
F So keep your seats there’s no alarm
Am You will not come to any harm
B Put on your life vests and stay calm. - F

This Poems Story

I called it "Fear" and then it occurred to me that it is the more modern feminine version of "Said Hanrahan" fear that we'll all be rooned!
