Sailing Ahead

Day and night, I think I might,
Try to find, a way to leave behind,
The worry and doubt, it's not what life's about.
My heart won't be filled, won't turn cold and chilled,
With the ache of regret, things to forget.
Eyes to the sky, never to ask why,
Only looking ahead, of just today instead.
What's gone is past, set sails on the mast.
Evil thoughts with corrode the mind, cause it to break, unravel, unwind.
A new wind is blowing, a new current flowing.
My mind is set on you, trusting and true.
Fixed on our journey, two hearts now set free
Life like an unpredictable sea, traveling together, you and me.
