Same old, same old…

While sitting in my chair, I watch the world around
It has not changed that much, still Earth remains round.

Remains the same our greed, the envy when we meet
Success in other's lives, the flow of lows and highs.

No change in evil too, the same old gore and gloom.
And fire-breathing doom.

The drive to be the first, to quench the riches thirst,
To eat the only best while hiding from the rest.

But flowers still bloom and smell,
The sky is still blue and swell.

The ocean brings up waves,
The earth still sometimes shakes.

The love is in the air, and life creates in pairs.
The hearts get filled with joy,and always we have choice:

To live in misery and hate, or open our hearts to fate,
To stay in dark or fly to light - we're free to use this ageless right.
