Sandy Days

I think of the beach and I see sandy days.
I see children laughing and grown-ups watching with joy on their face.
I sit now and watch the day go by.
I watch the sunset and the stars come out.
I see the children come out looking for crabs.
I think to myself what a wonderful place.
The waves crashing upon the shore.
The sun rising over the horizon.
Seeing the people come out to start the day.
Boys and girls wanting the perfect tan.
Surfers wanting the perfect wave.
Music in the air with people talking all around.
People relaxing to the children splashing all around.
This place brings joy to many people including me.
I cannot wait for more of these sandy days.
