Sandy

A boom and a splash-
Destroying houses,
Beaches,
Cars in a dash.
She knocked over trees,
Brought death to are path.
Took away power,
Left cars with no gas.
She flooded the streets,
Leveled fear to its highest peak;
spoiled our food,
Cold showers,
No heat.
Straight tragic,
No sleep-
But made us become one,
In a time of need.
