Sanguine Emptiness

Sanguine Emptiness...

Fecundly docile under the relucent sun
Hollow out my archaic bones
Strip me bare of unessential deities
That dance blithely on bare ground

Fill my days with sanguine emptiness
Lay fresh a fertile earth to walk on
With feet bare of yesterday's raptures
Unbound to walk through elysian fields

As I ardently stand at the edge of twilight
Ebbingly transpose my staccato days
Into adagio nights filled with calm
So that I can lie peacefully sublime

Placidly supine under the luminous moon
A jezebel's odalisque for love's pander
Three breaths away from ecstasy
Inside the muses ecstatic dance

Shallow out my nights with Bacchus bliss
Divine nectar from the grapes of thine
A medley of red, white and blush
One crushed shade for each passing emotion
