Sanity

She wasn't in her element,
Her thoughts in her own way,
A force to be reckoned with,
A downfall into dismay.

She wasn't safe in her mind,
A spoken word not dared,
The faded cries into nothing,
A sensory default impaired.

She wasn't able to pull away,
Intensity increasing within,
The fragments of her very being,
The alignment of sanity caved in.
