By Dan W

How you crawled inside
my reluctant mind.
I fear you know
what I'm saying
at my speechless times.
Fear you can hear the echos
behind my stitched lips,
bound to my soul
but unable to twist.
And fear they can whisper a phrase
that isn't balanced on tongue
but perched on feeling,
known by none.
Know you've scalpeled a way
under my skin
and it's starting to itch.
