School Time!

Ring ring
There's the bell
I'm so happy I could yell!
It's school
Get up!
Put on your clothes
Underwear
Socks on your toes
Grab an apple
Out the door
Oops, forgot the four-year-old!
Mary Anne, what do you have to say?
We are in a hurry!
You're off to Pre-K
Where is the bus?
Forgot about that!
Mary don't pet that old stray cat!
Wait, look at the calender. what a bummer.
It's July
No school during summer

This Poems Story

My name is Rachel Kivlan and I am eleven years old. I have always loved to read and write, but my passion has always been geared towards dancing. I have a nine-year-old sister, a nineteen-year-old brother and two very loving parents. It was my third grade teacher who inspired this poem. He was absolutely amazing, and even during the summer, I wanted to go back to school to see him. Therefore, this poem is dedicated to Mr. Hayden. Thanks!
