School’s Out

The clock ticks 12 a.m. on Sunday morning,
Time to get to bed for school,
I get up and get ready but look like a fool
Class is now ready for learning
Thinking about the end of school is burning,
But seeing my friends for the last time is cool,
Hope I get to see them later at the pool
And looking at the clock is still concerning

Our class gets louder and louder by the minute,
The teacher calms us down
There's just a couple of minutes until school is out

We make time go by fast by playing basketball with paper
We shoot, we score!
Then we have a class clown
Finally the bell rings and then we all sprout
