Waves sing to the rocks of their lament-
As do I the shore and you the horizon-
Close yet distant never merging, sadly separated-
Neither rock nor waves chose what they will be, they just are
Nor did we choose.
I should have crashed into you as waves to the shore, yet relented for I was never good enough.
Your incandescence reverberates interminably against my waves, warming and sustaining me.
There for me-
Salt for the sea, never one without the other.
Indissoluble savor of salt, blanketing turbulent lips of my ocean-
