Seasonal Insanity

Seasonal Insanity

The rose blooms with childish grins
Maturing in the summer heat
Swaying and dancing in the winds
Growing more slender and sweet

She is more glorious than ever
Her large petals a crimson red
Her beauty will never sever
Yet winter wants her dead

Winter knows she cannot be allured
Yet he longs for her a heart so gentile
Consumed in agony humanity can’t endure
So consumed in pain he grows quite hostile

His darkness consumed his snowy heart
In return, he tore his dear Juliet apart
