Seasoned Reasons

Into the weave of perversion
Are sequinned denial and shame
Weak treasons and violent defenses
At their basest are but the same

In harsh realities are sought
Promises to self, sold and bought
Dealing with the lowest bidder
Compulsion flinging all asunder

Simplistic mysteries to create wonder
Masochistic absolution in a little man's tall tales
And imagination, my cheap whore
Defiant I watch the mirror, yet again spin my lore
